The lead singer of Local H, Scott Lucus, is getting ready to release his first solo album ever! He is working with producer Andy Gerber in Chicago to create this record.

You can already listen to some of the demo songs for Scott’s solo project on his myspace page. Be sure to signup with myspace.com so you can leave Scott a comment and let him know what you think of his new songs.

‘Between The Bars’ Interview with Scott Lucas

Thanks to Twiter I have found a recent Local H interview with and Scott Lucas by ‘Between The Bars’ blog.

BTB: The album also kind of reminds me a little of the Rolling Stone’s After Math or maybe even Marvin Gaye’s Here, My Dear. Were you inspired by either of these or any other breakup album?

SL: Well, I’m surprised to hear you say that. Those two records along with Blood on the Tracks were the major touchstones of this record. They were the MAJOR sources of inspiration and, like, sort of road maps. Um, so, yep, that was exactly what we were going for – sort of getting back to that kind of thing.

Continuing our hard work to update the H corner website, we found that we were missing some Local H lyrics. The NO Fun EP, and Whatever Happened To P.J. Soles where both missing lyrics from the site. Well we have recently fixed that oversite and fired the person who let that happened. Please take a moment to see all of our Local H lyrics in the lyrics section of The H Corner.

Update On Our Status

I recently did an over hall of the tabs page on The H Corner. After the website move to Wordpress the guitar tabs where hanging out in all kinds of places on the webserver. I have since consolidated the tabs into one location. With lots of help from Mark, we have added several new tabs and updated old ones. I have also found that for some albums we are missing tabs. These missing tabs are displayed on the tabs page but are not linked to anything. If you want to help us find or create these missing tabs please shoot me an e-mail.

One of the other things I have been working on is a favicon for the website. So now, if you look at the top of your browser on the left of your URL bar you should see a nice big back and white “H” icon. It’s a miner thing but it needed to be done.

Next on the H Corner todo list, we want to add new images to the gallery and maybe even give the gallery and update. Update lyrics and work on some new downloadable content.
